WHY BUCKWHEAT PILLOWS?

Finding the perfect pillow which can offer the support needed for restorative sleep can be difficult. We’d tried pillows filled with feathers, foam, and even hollow plastic beads, but it wasn’t until we tried buckwheat pillows that we finally found the relief we were looking for. Now, we are excited to introduce these perfect pillows into the mainstream, so that everybody can enjoy the comfortable and rejuvenating sleep that we do.


In 2017, our daughter was born and we are so grateful for this little addition to our family. She has made us appreciate all the wonders of life and we began to see the world as parents. It has been a natural extension for us to add organic pillows for babies, children and mothers to our line of products. We believe now, more than ever, that the pillows and pillowcases that you and your family sleep on should be natural, and free from any toxic chemicals.

ComfyComfy was founded in USA by Maggie Wong, a health conscious yoga instructor, in 2011. Maggie began the business as the sole seamstress, and has remained dedicated to providing the highest quality products and customer service. As demand grew, she enlisted the help of other craftspeople.

ComfyComfy Canada is a small family business in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) started by Melissa in 2013. It began as a simple quest to introduce supportive, natural, moldable buckwheat pillows into the mainstream, and has since then grown into offering health and well-being products that we truly believe in. NATURALLY GROWN BUCKWHEAT HULLS

You sleep on and breath very close to your pillow every night. A pillow made with natural, plant based materials that are cleaned without the use of fumigates is important. Our pillows are filled with organic Canadian-grown buckwheat hulls that are air cleaned without chemicals or fumigants.

ORGANICALLY
GROWN COTTON

Our buckwheat pillows are made from custom-milled fabric that took two years to develop. Our fabric starts with organically grown cotton from Texas, which is then milled into tightly woven cotton twill fabric. Our 9 oz cotton twill helps dampen the rustling sound of buckwheat hulls and contains any dust created by the hulls after years of use.

Our pillows are made with the highest quality materials, including YKK zippers. The zippered opening is crucial for a good buckwheat pillow as it allows the addition or removal of buckwheat hulls for customized support.
