I used the Buckwheat Hulls to fill a Beanbag that I use for photography. I use the beanbag to steady my big lenses when shooting from a vehicle. The beanbag sits in the open window of the vehicle and the lens is placed on top. I had used sunflower seeds to fill the bag but they made the bag heavy to handle. After filling the beanbag with Buckwheat Hulls it is now half the weight and just as solid for stabilizing the big lens.
I purchased a 35 lb bag of hemp shells to fill a moon shaped and a rectangular very large base meditation. These were huge and took about 1/2 the bag of shells to fill. Once done though, they're so comfy!! I love sitting on them. They're firm yet supple. I'm so glad I have tons left for when I decide to make some bolsters for yoga next. Thanks for making this project worth while.
I've been on the pillow for about 2 weeks now and my sleep has been great. I'm pleasantly surprised! I haven't removed any of hulls, no yet anyway.
